Bruschettini
Laboratories were established in 1910 under the name “Laboratory
of Experimental Therapeutics Dr. Prof. A Bruschettini” by Prof. Alessandro
Bruschettini, famous bacteriologist, whose studies and discoveries (the most
remarkable in tetanus and tuberculosis) granted him high esteem in the
international field. He personally supervised the preparation of vaccines in
the laboratory of his company according to his own technique till his death in
1932. Under
scientific direction and management of his sons, the factory was implemented in
1938. The new research department made possible the study and the production of
other specialties based on amino acid derivatives, phosphoric esters of
thiamine, original thiazine derivatives, etc. A new
division of the company, highly specialized in ophthalmic and rhino iatric
products, was established in 1976 by Dr. Alessandro Bruschettini, grandson of
the founder, who took over the direction of the company. Nowadays, his son Dr.
Augusto Bruschettini representing the fourth generation of the family, manages
the company, fully in compliance with all EC requirements for Pharmaceutical
